Terms & Conditions of Car Rental Services
Please read the following terms and conditions
of using New Zealand Car Rental and Auto Vehicle Hire services:
RESERVATIONS
In order to make a reservation with Auckland Premium Car Rentals a deposit is required.
The deposit amount depends on the hire but this will be a minimum of NZ$50 during
the winter season (April - Sept) and a minimum of NZ$150 during the summer season
(Oct - March). For hires from Christchurch we require the full amount to be paid
at the time of reservation (usually before arrival at Christchurch depot).
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Current New Zealand driving license, international licenses (or English written)
and international driving permits are accepted.
INSURANCE
All our prices include GST, unlimited kilometres, AA breakdown service and a full
comprehensive insurance.
Rental vehicle and third party insurance is included in our rates and is subject
to a deductible (Excess) of
NZ$ 950.00. NZ$ 3,000.00 for drivers under 21 or for drivers with restricted
( provisional Licence ).
Excess Liability (deductible) $2,000 + GST on single vehicle accident / damage.
AIRPORT SERVICE
We operate a friendly "Meet & Greet" service at New Zealand Airports.
Free airport accomodation pick up is also available.
PICK-UPS AND DROP-OFFS
Office hours are from 8.30 AM till 5.15 PM.
Outside these office hours we provide the following pickup and dropoff services:
Early pickup and dropoff are possible from 7.00am
The latest dropoff is 8.00pm.
The latest collection from the airport is 7.30pm
The service fee for outside office hours pickups and dropoffs is NZ$35
PAYMENT
We accept all major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard, BankCard, and American
Express.
DAILY RATES
Each day is a 24 hour Period. Please note that late returns are charged accordingly.
PETROL
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank. All vehicles must be returned from hire
with a full tank. The vehicle will be filled at the hirer's cost with an added surcharge
should the vehicle be returned unfilled at the end of a hire.
CANCELLATION POLICY & REFUNDS
After our confirmation of your reservation:
- Ferry reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to departure, hereafter
there's no refund. Cancellations before 48 hours incur a $35 cancellation fee.
- A minimum fee of NZ$25 applies to changes / modifications;
- A minimum fee of NZ$150 apply to all car cancellations;
- No show on pick up date incurs NZ$150 cancellation fee + 2 days rental;
- Please note for
Sleepervans and Campacars
50%
cancellation fee within 15
days of departure and 100%
hereafter.
- No refunds are given on unused days (early returns). |
